It was a disappointing night to start the season against Johnville tonight, despite the hosts being one of the favourites to win the league this year we still expected to put in more of a fight tonight and we gave away goals which a team of that quality will find it easy to exploit which we can not afford to do. There was glimpses of positivity for us and even some good chances but overall it ended up being quite a flat performance. Glen Kavanagh scored our goal and was best on the night for us. But in the end there was silly goals given away and it was our undoing on the night and the hosts ran out with the three points.
For those asking we did intend on hoping to provide either a live stream of the game or failing that live updates but we were unable to get either going, apologies for that, the weather and wind and our facilities would’ve made it to hard to stream at any good quality and live updates did not materialize either due to to some of the other match day activities going on.
Despite the disappointing night it was a privilege to make our debut on SundayLeagueTV, hopefully the first of many appearances.
Next Thursday we play Kilmacthomas away we’re hopefully we can bounce back on out some points on the board.
