Some good news to share as football and the country continues to be halted. Ben Peacock has joined Scottish Premiership club Hibernians F.C. as an analyst as part of his work placement from WIT and we’d like to take this opportunity to wish him the very best of luck as he departs. This is the same work placement that saw Luke Flynn join English League two side Southend United in the summer.

Ben played 9 times for the club scoring 7 times making him the top scorer of the club since its return to the Waterford Junior League in 2019/20. Some of his notable highlights include scoring two goals to get us back from 2-0 down to beat Dungarvan Celtic 3-2 last season and a stunning hat-trick in an 8-1 win over Kilmacthomas this year which was a club record away win.

Good luck Ben and you’ll be welcome back at Kilbarry when you return.
